Introduction:
Tenses of verb is simply defined as the various forms of verb, used to express the time when a verb action takes place.
Common Types Of Verb Tenses:
1. Simple Present-used to express actions that occur regularly or an occupation. Eg, My father is a teacher. She writes very well. I receive my salary every month.
2. Present Continuous-used to express an action that is going on at the moment. Usully goes with the present auxiliary plus main verb ending in 'ing'. Eg, She is writing her name. I am receiving my salary.
3. Present Perfect-used to express an action that has just ended at the present. It goes with has/have plus p.p. of the main verb. Eg, She has written her name. I have received my salary.
4. Present Perfect Continuous-used to express an action that began sometime ago and is still going on in the present. Eg, She has been writing well for long. I have been receiving my salary since last year....
